Andrea, Christophe and Runar have produced a Celestia scenario covering the only flight Buran ever performed in space.

Buran was the Soviet Union´s version of a space shuttle, but the program was cancelled in the early nineties, after the USSR fell apart. Info and download links are here, while an article on the Buran program is here.

From the Catalog of High Angular Resolution Measurements (CHARM2), Andrew has extracted radii for 1944 stars for use in Celestia.

This add-on provides radii for these stars as measured by interferometric methods, rather than radii derived from the blackbody approximation. Read more and find the download here!

Stephen (aka cartrite) has pioneered a spectacular new 86400 x 43200 pixel watermap, featuring major improvements in many ways.

We highly recommend using this watermap with Fridger’s F-TexTools, instead of the official BMNG one. The new watermask was (tediously) converted to binary raster format from the highest resolution vectorized SRTM Water Body Data (SWBD).
